These are gorgeous Pinolite incense holders. Each incense holder is as unique as the mineral that formed 533 million years ago in the Early Cambrian period during the Paleozoic Era. This newly discovered Canadian Pinolite/Pinolith formed 289 million years before the Triassic Period, the dawning era of Dinosaurs. A. Description: Rounded edges and ash groove running the length of the incense holder. Minimal Pyrite staining (orange color), lighter white color around the ends with dark grey/black in the center. This incense holder has little shine and sparkle from mineral deposits. Incense hole is properly placed and angled, large enough for most stick incense, and centered to the incense holder. Very heavy, almost a lb! As with all crystals it will break if it is dropped.

This incense holder has a good amount of silver shine and sparkle. Incense hole is properly placed and angled, large enough for most stick incense, and centered to the incense holder. As with all crystals it will break if it is dropped.

The gradient from the incense hole is dark to light, with pyrite staining throughout, including the center and the end. This holder has small amounts of silver shine and sparkle from mineral deposits. Incense hole is properly placed and angled, large enough for most stick incense, and centered to the incense holder. As with all crystals it will break if it is dropped.

Mineral Composition:

Previously only thought to originate from one place in the world- Austria, Pinolite within Canada is a monumental discovery with massive healing potential. Pinolite is a semi precious stone consisting of magnesite, dolomite, and graphite; that when brought together, form a stunning grey and white pattern. It is also called Pinolith and gets its name from its pine cone patterns. These patterns are formed by the slow cooling of the three minerals – magnesite, dolomite, and graphite. The orange staining in some of these are where pyrite was present and added an extra depth of color. This is a soft stone and is very fragile. As with all crystals it will break if it is dropped.
